Ingredients
Method
- add the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, and salt into a mug. Stir until the dry ingredients are evenly combined.
- Add the oil and milk, then mix until smooth.
- Place the mug in the microwave and cook on high for about 60–90 seconds.
- Be careful not to overcook — if you go too long, the brownie can turn dry.
- You can eat the brownie straight out of the mug
Notes
The beauty of a mug brownie is that you can change it up every time:
- Peanut Butter Brownie — Swirl a spoonful of peanut butter into the batter before cooking.
- Mocha Brownie — Add ½ teaspoon instant coffee granules to the batter.
- Nutella Brownie — Stir in a spoonful of Nutella for extra richness.
- Mint Brownie — Add a drop or two of peppermint extract.
- Salted Caramel Brownie — Drizzle with caramel sauce and sprinkle with flaky salt.
