Start by whisking together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl.
In a separate bowl, whisk the eggs, milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Slowly add the wet mixture to the dry ingredients, stirring until just combined.
The key is not to overmix. A few lumps are fine and will disappear during cooking
